Fifteen people were injured and taken to hospital after a tram crashed at Universal Studios Hollywood on Saturday night.
It is also reported that patients with minor injuries are being treated.
The country sheriff said LA Times A four-car tram has an accident.
Lt. Maria Abel said the last car of the tram hit the tracks as it went down the hill in the parking structure.
« There was some kind of problem with the brakes, » Abel said: « We're still not quite sure. »
Like many theme parks, trams at Universal Studios Hollywood transport people around the more than 400-acre site. Trams are also used for tourism. It is not clear what the tram was being used for at the time of the accident.
It's also unclear if operations at the theme park will be affected, but the California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
Universal Studios Hollywood is located in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County, California.
It began as a movie studio in 1915 and a theme park was added in 1964.
Major attractions include the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the Studio Tour Ride, which takes riders behind the scenes of some of Hollywood's most memorable films and television shows.
The park is one of several Universal Studios. Others are Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Singapore.
